Instead of "... if its proven he was born in Kenya", I should have said "... if its proven he was not born in the U.S.".

This is going to sound unrelated but I remember you came up with a Covid contrarian checklist. I have been pondering who specifically has said they tookthe jabs versus who has specifically stated that they did not take the jabs. I'm saying this bcause I am curious who has taken a public personal stance one way or the other...

Yes, Amy, thank you for remembering that. I think you're referring to

More Opinions On Wedge Issues

of some well known commentators, as far as I can tell...a work in progress

Also, more generally

The News As A Situation Puzzle

or a lateral thinking puzzle...

https://tomg2021.substack.com/p/the-news-as-a-situation-puzzle

My idea with opinions on wedge issues is to use lines of questioning as search vectors, to find authors and their accounts of different facets of reality, and match them to the readers preferences, to match readers and authors, and bypass gatekeeping measures like the number of subscribers, to bring to the surface authors that may be ignored or (God forbid, on Substack? No way!) —- *shadowbanned*.

That project is in a rudimentary state and the blocking problem is that authors don’t see the value and are by and large unwilling to offer answers to even *one* line of questioning, so I’m faced with using some AI tool to generate answers from their public posts. And that will produce a lot of hallucinations. Or, I could just guess what authors answers to questions would be, or accept others guesses, see

Sorry I wish there was an easy fix. On the bright side, if it was somehow got going then people would have a way around subs tack's broken search.

-edit-

I think authors didn't understand the purpose of the questions. They thought it was some kind of contract when in fact they would just be used as a way for people to find them.

Well, it is related in that evidently "our" Congress/government in general is not to be trusted even when they know something is wrong. perhaps especially when they know something is wrong. There is a reason bribes are called "grease" - wrong things just slide right on through.

Oh yeah, it could be proved without a shadow of a doubt that Obummer was not born in the US. But it would just simply be ignored.
