The W3C Is Working With The U.S. Department Of Homeland Security
The W3C also has connections to the WEF and the Trilateral Commission.
According to the W3C,
“The World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) is an international public-interest non-profit organization where Member organizations, a full-time staff, and the public work together to develop Web standards.”
In case you thought that the W3C, the World Wide Web Consortium, directed by Tim Berners-Lee, the original creator of the WWW, was working to protect citizens rights on the internet, you should be aware of a few things.
According to Biometricupdate.com,
“With support from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Science and Technology Directorate (S&T) and U.S. Citizen and Immigration Service (USCIS), the W3C Working Group has been developing the online digital ID standards.”
The W3C Board of Directors page lists connections to Google, BBC, Intel, Alibaba, Cloudfare, NTT, Ericsson.
As the W3C sees it, You Have No Inalienable Rights On The World Wide Web only those granted by the United Nations.
"These programs, from ID2020 and also from the UN’s World Food Programme, tie a person’s iris biometrics to a Digital ID that links directly to that person’s digital wallet, where aid money is disbursed, meaning that – if a refugee wants to eat – they must participate in a cashless, biometric-based financial system where financial transactions and key aspects of identity, including education credentials and health records, are stored."
--from Tokenized, Inc: BlackRock’s Plan To Own The Fractionalized World
In the aftermath of the recent Bitcoin ETF approvals, BlackRock’s Larry Fink revealed that soon everything will be “ETF’d” and tokenized, threatening to fractionalize not just existing assets and commodities, but the natural world, reducing most living things into Wall Street financial products to be traded on a single, universal ledger.
Is this the vision the world needs? :
So interesting that Google and the New York Times have edited the W3C Privacy Principles.
https://www.w3.org/TR/privacy-principles/
They might want to include a section on medical tyranny, propaganda and the Nuremberg Code.
"The W3C was founded in 1994 by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), the European Commission (the EU), and the US Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA). It seeks industry agreement to establish web standards. Consortium members include ID2020 founding partner Microsoft and ID2020 general partners Meta (formerly Facebook) and Mastercard."

"The World Wide Web Foundation was established in 2009 by web inventor Sir Tim Berners-Lee and Rosemary Leith to advance the open web as a public good and a basic right. We are an independent, international organisation fighting for a world where everyone has affordable, meaningful access to a web that improves their lives and where their rights are protected."

I think *technology* can be used for good or ill.
Technocracy is nothing but ill.
At best Technocracy is "modulated democracy" as described by Julie Cohen, in other words no democracy.
"Modulation and modulated democracy are emerging as networked surveillance technologies take root within democratic societies characterized by advanced systems of informational capitalism. Citizens within modulated democracies — citizens who are subject to pervasively distributed surveillance and modulation by powerful commercial and political interests — increasingly will lack the ability to form and pursue meaningful agendas for human flourishing."

At worst Technocracy is fascism on steroids.
"Many technocrats view themselves as saviors and authorized themselves to fix the myriad problems humanity faces. Believing they are possessors of the “one workable answer,” they’re attempting to fashion a world unaffected by the capriciousness of the human condition. They despise spontaneity and unexpected outcomes, instead preferring a scientific, fact-based worldview that reduces inconsistencies and variables that occur with current governance models. Their solutions depend on the expanded and efficient use of snake oil digital technology and data and the overt or implicit consent of the people."
