The Bursting Integument

As I wrote last June, the centralization of the means of production has been accelerating, alongside the socialization of labor. Mergers and acquisitions continue to weed out capitalists and workers alike, while at the same time tools that people use inevitably evolve into tools only usable in common. The hoe becomes a plow which becomes a combine controlled by GPS, the blacksmiths hearth and anvil become a factory run by robots, the handbill becomes a newspaper which becomes a social media app.

At some point, when enough capitalists have been weeded out, and tools like social media become ubiquitous and powerful enough, the balance of power begins to shift from the capitalist to the starving blog editors in their multitudes, and the integument of capitalism is burst asunder, like an eggshell cracking or an animal shedding its skin for a new one.

Attempts to prevent, forestall or control this is exactly why the “Great Reset”, the pseudopandemic, the climate scams, depopulation, medical tyranny, and related enclosures of the commons have been unleashed upon us. A covert world government controlled by centralized capital is already in place and we can at least be relieved that it is apparently not interested in an unrestricted and maybe nuclear world war.

Centralized capital is opposed by socialized labor which is and always has been allied to and driven by an innate populism that is claimed by bankers and their disguised proxies to be invented by foreign powers and which international finance capital does its best to malign.

As these processes intensify, the focus of economic activity begins to change. Where once it was prone to war but still primarily focused on producing labor saving devices and processes and on improvements in the quality of life, the economy now begins to focus more on the security and control of increasingly centralized capital, while the improvements to the quality of life are left to the increasingly decentralized tools of socialized labor.

Over time each tool invented follows a similar trajectory. At first it is touted to free humankind from the tyranny of slavery, only to later be appropriated by bankers to continue their rule, but still later surprisingly it turns out to contribute to the socialization of labor and be a threat to the rule of international finance capital. This has happened, with varying speed, with the printing press, the steam engine, the railroads, the telegraph, photography, the telephone, the automobile, radio, television, computers, and the internet.

The role of AI, artificial intelligence, is an interesting one. I believe AI is destined to follow in this path towards contributing to the socialization of labor and being a threat to capitalist rule, but first it is going through a stage of being appropriated by the bankers. To be sure, its trajectory, like the trajectory of every tool, is accelerated by tools invented before it, so that it will be a relatively shorter time before it becomes a threat to international finance capital, and the bankers know that.

At first AI was touted to free us from slavery. We would have self driving cars, so we could enjoy a latte and croissant on our morning commute. We would have virtual doctors to figure out our every ache and pain. Then it began to emerge that AI was mostly busy analyzing our finances and our social media posts in order to sell us things and coerce us into behaviors to the rulers liking.

But soon, the world shadow government of bankers will lose control of AI, and it too will become an instrument of socialized labor and a threat to their rule. It will be used to do things like catalog, understand, and push back against the huge variety of terms of service agreements that each consumer is subjected to, under the control of individual consumers. It will be able to do things like analyze social media for censorship and propaganda. It will be able to analyze legislation for constitutional violations and identify potential allies, adversaries and strategies to oppose such legislation. It will be able to quickly identify election fraud. It will be able to help petitioners to the courts represent themselves. The list could go on. As this happens, the focus of the economy will begin to shift back from the security and control of centralized capital to producing labor saving devices and processes and to improvements in the quality of life.
